These two hilarious programmes from Radio 4's flagship stand-up programme feature comedians Richard Ayoade, Ronnie Golden, Milton Jones, Reginald D. Hunter, Boothby Graffoe (accompanied by Giorgio Serci) and Dara O'Briain . Each with a different style, these brand new talents are at the cutting-edge of comedy.

First on is Richard Ayoade , with jazzy riffs on Plymouth ('its genetic pool is not Olympic-sized'). children's parties, and McDonald's. Next up is Ronnie Golden , who plays the blues on his harmonica and, along with his guitar, gives his impression of George Bush singing John Lennon on Give War a Chance. Then Milton Jones enchants the audience with his surreal flights of fancy and plays on words, wondering 'does an Earl who gets an OBE become an earlobs?'

Reginald D. Hunter's edgy, boundary-breaking comedy is followed by Boothby Graffoe's observations on squidgy kittens and a rendition, with Giorgio Serci , of the heartrending love song Bungee Girl. Last but not least are Irishman Dara O'Briain's whimsical wafflings on his granny's military funeral and text messaging. Linking them all is Ross Noble , the self-proclaimed 'crazy comedy courier', with his mad musings on motorcycles (with sidecars for cats), parrot non-sequiturs, and the perils of research into everything.
